Blogging Failure :(

Ok, I know that its been a REALLY long time since I posted anything to our blog.  Thus the title: Blogging Failure :(   January has flown by, with lots going on, but not much really going on.  Does that make sense to anyone???  Four out of five of us have been sick this month, at one time or another.  Strep, upper respiratory infections and a bad ear infection have all made appearances.  We've given CVS lots of our green stuff this month; over the counters, Kleenex and of course various prescriptions.  The weather in Round Rock has been hot, cold, hot, cold, rainy, clear, sunny, etc, etc, etc......... and tomorrow we should be able to add frigid, icy, and gloomy!  We've tried to get outside as much as we can when the days are nice.  The kids got a new play set for the backyard and the slides are a hit.  Sam and Stella are exploring a lot when we go out; mostly finding things to put into their mouths like acorns, dirt, leaves, and old goldfish crackers from who knows when.  Molly is doing great and gearing up for a Valentines day party at her school.  We are planning to make sugar cookies with sprinkles and she wants to try her hand at homemade valentines day cards this year for all of her classmates.  (Glad there are only 11!)  So, with all of that being said, I'd better get back to the laundry and kids............ahhhh, the exciting life I lead!!!

2011 Is Here! Christmas Highlights and More.........

We are already on the 3rd day of 2011, and I have some blogging to catch up on!  Our Christmas was great........mostly spent at home, relaxing and enjoying our families and watching the kiddos play.  We gathered with Eric's family in San Antonio on Christmas eve for a Mexican food dinner, and then returned home that night to wait for Santa to pay us a visit (because we were all very good this year, we expected nothing less than 5 full stockings!)  AND HE DELIVERED!!!  Molly was thrilled with her art easel, razor scooter and basketball and Sam and Stella have not stopped playing with the Noah's ark little people set and sit and spin.  My parents arrived on the day after Christmas for a three day visit.  We've watched lots of movies, had lots of pajama days, and had lots of company over the last two weeks.   There has been lots of fun, food and laughter in our house and we've thoroughly enjoyed it!  Eric and I even got to get away with his brother and our sister in law for a double date.  We saw True Grit and enjoyed dinner too!  Eric's family all arrived on Saturday for a New Year's Day feast and everyone pitched in and made it a visit to remember. Our babies are turning into little people and both have so much personality.  They are into everything, especially the mulch and dirt when we've been outside shooting baskets or playing in the  yard.  Our every other day baby bath routine is quickly turning into daily, if not twice daily baths for them both!  Molly is excited to be going back to school and starting back to gymnastics tomorrow.  We wish for you all a blessed and happy New Year, filled with Love, Laughter, and the Making of Great Memories.
