New Wagon

Over the weekend we got a new wagon, with a trailer, from a mom in my Mothers of Multiples group.  Bless her heart; she has 21 month old triplets, a 6 year old, a 9 year old, and an 11 year old!  Makes me thankful for my THREE kiddos!!! Sam, Stella, and Molly all enjoyed a walk yesterday afternoon around the neighborhood.  I'm sure we were a sight to behold.  We only got a few waves and honks.

Fun Fourth!

We had a fun fourth of July in New Braunfels this past weekend.  It started off wet and cloudy on Friday with a lot of rain from Hurricaine Alex, but Saturday, Sunday, and Monday turned out sunny and warm! We entered a float in the annual New Braunfels parade on Saturday morning and the kids had a great time throwing candy and waving to the onlookers.  After that we enjoyed a brisket lunch (smoked by Eric) and then headed down to the island for a little river time.  Molly and some other kiddos had a blast catching minnows and Sam enjoyed his first cool beverage while Stella was chillin in her exersaucer and napping.  We did it all over again on Sunday and this time both babies went for a dip, but my camera didn't make it in the bag.  Sunday night we watched a spectacular fire works show while sitting on a blanket at the golf course.  It was a great ending to a fun filled weekend.  We got home Monday around noon and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon by the pool with friends.  Today has been filled with laundry, laundry, and oh yeah, more laundry!!!

Ramen Noodles

Are Ramen noodles really that bad? I sure hope not since my 6 year old has had them for lunch LOTS this summer! Today she ate them while dressed in a Princess dress, sitting in Stella's high chair next to Sam (which I took a picture of and she made me promise not to show anyone!) Yesterday she had a microwaved corn dog- protein for the week I guess. Now if I could only get her to learn how to boil water.................she could make them all by herself! Go ahead, nominate me for mother of the year; I'll be waiting for my call telling me I've won the grand prize :)
